About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Organize dispatch and delivery of outgoing materials, orders, and samples
Perform associated Oracle tasks for product shipments
Package outgoing shipments according to domestic and international requirements and regulations
Repack products according to standard repack procedures
Compare identifying information, counts, and weights against bills of lading, invoices, orders, and other records
Receive and unload freight manually or using forklifts and pallet jacks
Inspect incoming materials for package integrity and report rejections, leakage, or tampering
Procure, log, and inventory retain samples for incoming raw materials
Store materials safely in proper warehouse locations
Distribute incoming packages to appropriate intercompany departments
Follow material-handling procedures to minimize damage or injury
Prioritize daily receiving, shipping, and sampling work to meet deadlines
Report shipping schedules, delays, and problems to the manager
Maintain warehouse order, cleanliness, and safe work areas
Maintain inventory of shipping materials and supplies
Handle assigned warehouse projects
Remain accountable for responsibilities defined by ISO 9001 process flows

Requirements

What you’ll need

High School diploma or GED
Forklift Operation Certification
IATA, IMDG & CFR certified
Good communication and time management skills
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to coordinate efficiently with co-workers, take direction from immediate supervisor, and work well as a member of a team
Ability to prioritize workload and perform well in a fast-paced environment
Ability to follow safety and official procedures
Endurance and strength needed to load and unload materials
Regularly lift and/or move objects up to 50 pounds
Frequently lift and/or move objects weighing more than 100 lbs.
Ability to perform repetitive movements and remain physically active for long periods
Ability to determine distance between objects and distinguish colors, shades, and brightness
Must adhere to company safety policy and use personal protective equipment
Understand and execute all necessary requirements for ISO 9001
Must be able to work in a warehouse environment with noise, dust, odors, equipment, and chemicals
