About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead sales and pipeline development into the U.S. Army and Army National Guard for the counter-UAS portfolio
- Own the sales lifecycle from requirement shaping through tender, negotiation, and contract award
- Expand the key account network and convert strategic opportunities into long-term partnerships
- Drive the opportunity pipeline through FAR-based procurements, OTAs, CSOs, BAAs, and SBIR pathways
- Monitor Army C-UAS program-of-record roadmaps, competitive sensor landscapes, and evolving requirements
- Execute targeted capture strategies across key accounts
- Build relationships with program offices, requirement owners, testing organizations, and prime integrators
- Represent Robin Radar at defense conferences and field demonstrations
- Negotiate commercial terms, pricing, and contract agreements
- Align deal structures with corporate revenue, margin, and strategic goals
- Channel field feedback, spectrum constraints, and operational needs to R&D and Product teams
- Collaborate with Bid Operations, Systems Engineering, and Marketing
- Ensure compliance with U.S. export controls (EAR and ITAR)
- Manage spectrum authorization needs and Buy American Act guidelines
- Report to the General Manager of Robin Radar USA
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent military experience)
- 7+ years of defense business development experience with proven U.S. Army sales success
- Track record of capturing named U.S. Army programs, contract vehicles, OTAs and BAAs
- Strong domain knowledge of counter-UAS, radar sensors, and air defense architectures
- U.S. Person status under EAR and ITAR with eligibility for security clearance
- Prior U.S. Army Air Defense Artillery (14-series MOS or officer) background preferred
- Excellent cross-cultural communication, negotiation skills, and strategic thinking
- Ability to work independently within a global, high-tech matrix environment
- Located in the U.S., preferably near Huntsville, AL, Fort Sill, OK, or the National Capital Region
- Willingness to travel up to 50% to key Army sites and events
- Certificate of Conduct (VOG) and background check as part of the screening process
