About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Maintain precise part numbers, descriptions, and technical specifications
- Create and maintain detailed Bills of Materials containing materials, subassemblies, supplier data, quantities, and specifications
- Implement configuration management processes and software tools across product lines
- Track design modifications and customer-specific variations for revision control
- Maintain records of drawings, revision changes, and product configurations
- Ensure end-to-end traceability from design through maintenance
- Support Production teams with configuration data for assembly, repairs, and updates
- Collaborate with R&D Innovation, Project Management, and Procurement teams
- Integrate BOMs and configuration rules into ERP and PLM systems
- Embed configuration management best practices across internal teams
- Report to the Head of Engineering
Requirements
What you’ll need- BSc or MSc degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
- 2+ years of experience in BOM and configuration management, ideally in high-tech
- Solid understanding of part classification, BOM structures, and configuration principles
- Hands-on experience with ERP and PLM software platforms
- Fluent English skills, both written and spoken
- Exceptional organizational skills with a strong eye for detail
- Collaborative team player who communicates clearly across different cultures
- Self-motivated and capable of working independently
- Willingness to undergo a background check and provide a Certificate of Conduct (VOG)
