About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Partner directly with the Orthodontist during examinations and treatments
  • Place and remove wires, coil springs, bands, and retainers
  • Guide patients through their treatment plans
  • Instruct patients on proper oral hygiene and appliance care
  • Keep patients comfortable throughout their visits
  • Prepare operatories
  • Sterilize equipment

  • Assist in fabricating customized appliances and retainers

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Prior experience in dental or orthodontic assisting is required
  • Deep familiarity with orthodontic terminology, procedures, and clinical appliances
