About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Assist clients through the loan process from application to closing, including resolving client concerns
- Build and maintain relationships with real estate agents, investment advisors, accountants, friends, family and closed clients
- Consult with clients and analyze financial situations to determine appropriate loan products
- Evaluate credit, employment, income, assets and property documents to ensure financing qualification
- Cultivate mortgage referral sources and market the value of working with Rocket Mortgage
- Advise and educate clients on home-buying, refinancing and mortgage management
- Establish, develop and maintain a book of business to drive referral volume and revenue
- Provide excellent service to referral sources and clients
- Stay current on product offerings, qualifying parameters and process changes
- Represent the Rocket brand at civic and community functions to support business development and lead flow
Requirements
What you’ll need- Experience in mortgage loan origination
- State and federal licenses
- Proven track record obtaining referrals and generating lead volume
- Professional communication, time management, results driven, teamwork and critical/strategic thinking skills
- Preferred: 3 years of experience in mortgage loan origination
- Desire to work and grow in an entrepreneurial environment
