Key responsibilities & impact

Develop responsive, resilient, scalable, and high-quality software using React-JS, Java, AWS, and other tools/libraries
Leverage AI to develop solutions, innovations, and efficiencies within an AI-first development mindset
Balance complex infrastructure investments with quick, pragmatic solutions for business needs
Collaborate with engineering and product stakeholders to define, design, and develop projects
Collaborate with the team as both a contributor and feature lead
Build features supporting users’ rental search journeys
Develop Rental Details Page and Search map features on Redfin.com
Build consumer-facing UI, data ingestion pipelines, and data services
Participate in an on-call rotation when applicable, including possible nights and weekends, to support production systems and service reliability

Requirements

What you’ll need

3+ years of professional full stack software development experience specifically in ReactJS and Java
Hands-on experience developing and leveraging AI for software efficiencies in a professional capacity
Proven track record of designing, building, and maintaining scalable, high-performance web applications
Experience with React-JS, Java, AWS, and various other tools/libraries
Ownership mindset and ability to overcome hurdles to deliver high-impact features
Comfort with autonomy and ambiguity
Ability to make recommendations, create solutions, and drive outcomes
Exceptional communication and collaboration skills
Ability to work effectively in a team environment and empathize with customers
