About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Support the delivery of audit engagements for clients by performing tests on accounting processes and internal controls
- Assist in analyzing financial statements and verifying compliance with accounting standards
- Prepare, organize, and document audit workpapers
- Support the identification of accounting, financial, and internal control risks
- Report any non-compliance issues to the team
- Maintain contact with clients to request information, answer questions, and follow up on requests
- Work in accordance with audit methodology, internal policies, and global standards
- Collaborate with the audit team and participate in ongoing technical learning and development
Requirements
What you’ll need- Degree in Accounting, either in progress or completed
- Some initial experience or an interest in External Audit; prior experience in accounting, auditing, or related areas is a plus
- Basic knowledge of accounting and auditing
- Familiarity with accounting and auditing standards
- Familiarity with preparing audit workpapers
- Intermediate English or higher preferred
- Ability to analyze accounting information and identify inconsistencies
- Ability to manage multiple demands, meet deadlines, and maintain the quality of deliverables
- Strong communication skills for team interaction and client contact
- Interest in developing a career in auditing
- Availability based on project and client needs
