About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Support investment and fundraising projects from initial analysis through successful completion
Prepare financial models, business plans, and investor presentations to assess business models and investment opportunities
Conduct market, competitive, and company analyses to identify trends and investment opportunities
Prepare for and participate in client meetings, pitches, and investor discussions
Assist with M&A transactions, including company valuation, due diligence, and transaction structuring
Prepare decision papers and research reports for management and investors
Continuously monitor capital markets and relevant industry developments

Requirements

What you’ll need

Successfully completed degree in economics, finance, business administration, economics, or a comparable field of study
Initial practical experience in investment banking, corporate finance, venture capital, private equity, or consulting is an advantage
Strong analytical skills
Proficiency in financial modeling and common tools, such as Excel and PowerPoint; familiarity with PitchBook, Capital IQ, Mergermarket, or Crunchbase is a plus
Strong interest in entrepreneurship, capital markets, and strategic business development
Structured, precise, and independent approach to work, including under time pressure
Excellent written and spoken German and English
Team player with initiative and a willingness to take on responsibility in a dynamic, growth-oriented environment
