About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Support investment and fundraising projects from initial analysis through successful completion
- Prepare financial models, business plans, and investor presentations to evaluate business models and investment opportunities
- Conduct market, competitive, and company analyses to identify trends and investment opportunities
- Prepare for and participate in client meetings, pitches, and investor discussions
- Support M&A transactions, including company valuation, due diligence, and transaction structuring
- Prepare decision-making materials and research reports for management and investors
- Continuously monitor capital markets and relevant industry developments
Requirements
What you’ll need- Successfully completed degree in economics, finance, business administration, economics, or a comparable field
- Initial practical experience in investment banking, corporate finance, venture capital, private equity, or consulting is an advantage
- Strong analytical skills
- Proficiency in financial modeling and common tools such as Excel and PowerPoint; experience with PitchBook, Capital IQ, Mergermarket, or Crunchbase is a plus
- Strong interest in entrepreneurship, capital markets, and strategic corporate development
- Structured, precise, and independent approach to work, including under time pressure
- Excellent German and English language skills, both written and spoken
- Team-oriented, proactive, and willing to take on responsibility in a dynamic, growth-oriented environment
