About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead buy-side and sell-side M&A transactions in the technology sector (hardware/software)
- Manage the entire deal process through closing
- Develop and execute deal strategies with the partner team
- Build and maintain investor, private equity, and buyer networks
- Conduct valuation, financial modeling, and deal structuring
- Manage due diligence processes
- Lead and develop analysts and associates
- Collaborate with entrepreneurs and C-level decision-makers
Requirements
What you’ll need- Completed degree in business administration, finance, accounting, or a comparable field
- Several years of experience in M&A, investment banking, or corporate finance
- Proven deal experience on the buy side and/or sell side
- Established network of investors, private equity funds, or strategic buyers
- Initial team leadership experience in an analyst/associate environment
- Excellent knowledge of financial modeling, valuation, and deal structuring
- Entrepreneurial mindset, strong sense of ownership, and drive
- Strong communication, negotiation, and C-level interaction skills
- Excellent German and English language skills
- Later in the application process: completion of the 16Personalities test and submission of the results with the application
