About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Own a product area end to end, from understanding practice problems through building, operating, and improving solutions
Define scope, timelines, and success criteria; align stakeholders
Make and document architecture, build-versus-buy, and technical trade-off decisions
Work on PMS integrations with German practice management systems
Develop treatment plans and cost estimates (HKP)
Build patient communication workflows including recalls, reminders, and follow-ups
Improve revenue and billing workflows
Develop and maintain Roger’s web and Flutter applications
Use real usage data and dashboards to evaluate outcomes
Improve testing, documentation, CI/CD, and observability
Shape AI-native engineering tooling and practices
Review and validate AI-generated code, test thoroughly, and apply architecture, security, and performance fundamentals
Apply data minimization, access control, EU processing, and model-provider data controls for health data
Conduct code reviews, knowledge sharing, and pairing

Requirements

What you’ll need

Senior-level, with significant experience shipping and operating production systems
Track record of owning projects end to end, from a vague problem statement through delivery to production and iteration
Experience working cross-functionally with product, design, data, and non-technical stakeholders
Comfortable talking to end users directly
Ownership, decision-making under ambiguity, and appropriate escalation
Clear written and verbal communication with technical and non-technical people
Deep experience in at least one of Ruby on Rails, Go, or Dart/Flutter; strong fundamentals
Business-fluent German (C1 or better) required
Already hold the right to work in Germany
Full-time availability
Bonus, not required: experience in healthcare, dental, or another regulated domain; experience integrating legacy on-premise systems
