About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Perform general maintenance assignments and day-to-day equipment and facility repairs
  • Support projects such as rebuilding pumps, motors, and other shop repairs
  • Perform preventative, corrective, and routine maintenance on facility equipment
  • Complete necessary maintenance paperwork accurately
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment failures
  • Identify appropriate solutions and repair equipment as needed
  • Reference equipment blueprints, diagrams, and resource materials for inspection, repair, and equipment use
  • Maintain accurate records of work in progress and completed tasks
  • Maintain a clean work environment
  • Perform inspections and handle hazardous materials, waste, and water treatment duties as needed
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • May consider equivalent work experience in lieu of education
  • 2+ years’ maintenance experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment
  • Experience with quality management systems
  • Certified forklift operator or ability to become certified
  • Respirator certified or ability to become certified
  • Successful completion of Hazardous Waste (RCRA) Intermediate level training
  • Follow specified safety protocols
  • Ability to perform routine and non-routine maintenance procedures
  • Ability to handle hazardous materials, waste, and water treatment duties as needed
