About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Set up, operate, and troubleshoot complex equipment for safe, efficient production of materials
  • Perform visual inspections, measurements, and testing according to established procedures
  • Record production data accurately in the computer database
  • Communicate with departments about product quality, material availability, and processing issues
  • Maintain a safe work environment through cleaning, minor equipment maintenance, and area cleanup
  • Communicate production issues and follow direction from the department supervisor and/or lead
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • High school diploma or equivalent; equivalent work experience may be considered in lieu of education
  • Willing and able to become certified in fork lift operation
  • Willing and able to work with computers
  • Work Sunday–Tuesday and every other Wednesday, 6 AM–6 PM
  • Ability to set up, operate, and troubleshoot complex equipment
  • Ability to perform visual inspection, measurement, and testing according to established procedures
  • Ability to accurately record production data in a computer database
  • Ability to communicate product quality, material availability, and processing issues
  • Ability to maintain a safe work environment, including cleaning and minor equipment maintenance
