About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Support, enhance, and optimize the technology landscape underpinning core financial processes
- Partner with FP&A, Accounting, and IT teams to deliver scalable and standardized solutions across reporting, planning, and consolidation platforms
- Support data consistency, analytical rigor, and decision support within the FP&A Center of Excellence
- Perform data analysis and validation across financial systems
- Document business processes, data flows, system configurations, and user procedures
- Identify opportunities for automation, process optimization, and improved system utilization
- Develop, maintain, and optimize dashboards, data models, and analytics solutions
- Support and enhance financial reporting, planning, and consolidation processes and systems
- Participate in month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close support activities
- Serve as the primary liaison between Finance/Accounting stakeholders and technical teams
- Translate business requirements into functional specifications
- Collaborate on data governance, master data quality, and reporting standardization
- Support training, change management, and adoption of standard Finance/Accounting processes
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, or related field; equivalent work experience may be considered in lieu of degree
- 3+ years of experience in Finance, Accounting or Financial Systems
- Hands-on experience with SAP SAC-P, including planning models, data actions, and stories
- Hands-on experience with SAP Group Reporting, including configuration, data collection, translation, elimination, and reporting
- Hands-on experience with Power BI, including data modeling, DAX, and report development
- Strong understanding of financial statements, accounting principles, FP&A processes, and financial data structures
- Experience supporting FP&A Centers of Excellence or shared services models
- Ability to translate business needs into technical requirements and communicate with technical and non-technical audiences
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills
