About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Perform general maintenance assignments and day-to-day equipment and facility repairs
  • Support projects such as rebuilding pumps, motors, and other shop repairs
  • Handle hazardous materials, waste, and water treatment as needed
  • Perform inspections
  • Follow specified safety protocols during routine and non-routine maintenance procedures
  • Establish preventive, corrective, and routine maintenance on facility equipment
  • Complete necessary maintenance paperwork accurately
  • Lead troubleshooting and diagnosis of equipment failures and identify appropriate solutions
  • Repair equipment as needed
  • Reference equipment blueprints, diagrams, and other resource materials for inspection, repair, and equipment use
  • Oversee accurate records of work in progress and completed tasks
  • Maintain a clean work environment
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • High School Diploma or equivalent; equivalent work experience may be considered in lieu of education
  • 4+ years’ maintenance experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment
  • Experience with quality management systems
  • Certified forklift operator or ability to become certified
  • Respirator certified or ability to become certified
  • Successful completion of Hazardous Waste (RCRA) Intermediate level training
  • Ability to work Thursday-Saturday and every other Wednesday, 6 AM-6 PM
  • Approximately 10% travel
