About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Manage a portfolio of complex projects from initiation through completion, delivering results on scope, schedule, budget, and quality targets
Develop, coach, and mentor Project Managers and project teams
Lead cross-functional project teams and resolve issues and conflicts
Manage project scope changes, crises, and risks; create contingency and mitigation plans
Prepare and deliver project progress reports to executive management
Identify additional revenue opportunities and develop business relationships vital to project success
Assess project status via onsite meetings and work with contractors on generator set installation
Drive project and PMO excellence through risk management, change control, performance monitoring, compliance, and continuous improvement
Lead multiple projects in coordination with account/program management
Execute complex and high-risk projects according to contract budget, schedule, and scope
Lead special projects as required

Requirements

What you’ll need

Associate’s degree in Business, Engineering, or related field + 7 years of experience in customer project execution
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or related field + 5 years of experience in customer project execution
Master’s degree in Business, Engineering, or related field + 3 years of experience in customer project execution
JD/PhD in Business, Engineering, or related field
In lieu of degree, 9+ years of experience in customer project execution
Must be a U.S. Citizen or U.S. Permanent Resident
Must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S. without sponsorship
PMP certification or equivalent project management training
Experience leading complex customer or business projects from initiation through completion
Ability to manage multiple priorities, deadlines, and resources in a fast-paced environment
Strong interpersonal, communication, and stakeholder management skills
Experience supporting project governance, risk management, and continuous improvement initiatives
