About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Accountable for the Reactor Island portion of the SMR programme
  • Report to the Operations & Supply Chain Director
  • Lead integration of multiple workstreams, suppliers and internal functions
  • Ensure people, processes, equipment, tooling, documentation, suppliers, components and delivery schedules are available, integrated, aligned and ready for site assembly and delivery
  • Develop and execute the Reactor Island mobilisation strategy
  • Establish and lead the Reactor Island Delivery Mobilisation team
  • Recruit and develop Senior Managers and Managers
  • Manage stakeholder and supplier integration to keep programmes, suppliers and delivery activities aligned to schedule
  • Travel regularly to suppliers
  • Undertake some international travel depending on supplier activity

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Senior Leadership background in delivering complex, large scale programmes
  • Experience coordinating readiness, mobilisation or delivery activities in nuclear new build programmes, major infrastructure projects or complex manufacturing and industrial delivery programmes
  • Strong programme and project management capability
  • Ability to operate at a highly strategic level while maintaining delivery focus
  • Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills
  • Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS) clearance
  • Satisfactory completion of a Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check
  • Satisfactory completion of a basic financial probity check
