About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Define how Rolls-Royce SMR will deliver future nuclear power plants through a repeatable, scalable delivery model
Design and implement operating models, governance frameworks, standards and ways of working supporting programme delivery at scale
Work across Operations, Supply Chain and Programme teams to create practical, deployable delivery approaches
Ensure delivery models, deployment strategies and execution frameworks are supported by appropriate processes, systems and organisational arrangements
Establish a new capability build within the industrialisation function
Report to the Senior Manager in Production Systems
Align role focus to Delivery Model, Delivery Execution or Fleet Deployment

Requirements

What you’ll need

Significant experience within complex programme, project or operational environments
Experience designing or improving operating models, governance frameworks, business processes and ways of working
Proven track record leading transformation, change, optimisation or capability deployment initiatives
Demonstrable ability to turn strategic concepts into practical, scalable solutions
Exposure to regulated or safety-critical environments
Nuclear know-how is of interest; transferable capability from defence, aerospace and manufacturing sectors may be relevant
Required to obtain Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS) clearance
Satisfactory completion of a Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check
Satisfactory completion of a basic financial probity check
Willingness to undertake regular supplier travel and potentially international travel
