About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Establish a new capability build within the industrialisation function
  • Define how Rolls-Royce SMR will deliver future nuclear power plants through a repeatable, scalable delivery model
  • Design and implement operating models, governance frameworks, standards and ways of working supporting programme delivery at scale
  • Work across Operations, Supply Chain and Programme teams to create practical, deployable delivery approaches
  • Ensure delivery models, deployment strategies and execution frameworks are supported by appropriate processes, systems and organisational arrangements
  • Report to the Senior Manager in Production Systems
  • Potentially work within Delivery Model, Delivery Execution or Fleet Deployment
  • Undertake regular supplier travel and some international travel depending on supplier activity

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Exposure to regulated or safety-critical environments
  • Significant experience within complex programme, project or operational environments
  • Experience designing or improving operating models, governance frameworks, business processes and ways of working
  • Proven track record leading transformation, change, optimisation or capability deployment initiatives
  • Demonstrable ability to turn strategic concepts into practical, scalable solutions
  • Applicants must obtain Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS) clearance
  • Satisfactory completion of a Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check
  • Satisfactory completion of a basic financial probity check
  • Nuclear know-how is of interest; transferable capability from defence, aerospace and manufacturing sectors may be relevant
