About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Resolve on-wing and deployed maintenance, repair and overhaul (MR&O) challenges in the field
Put safety first in all activities
Proactively identify customer field support requirements and establish routes to success so aircraft can continue operation
Collaborate with the wider Deployed Services function to ensure RA4800 MAA and HSE regulatory compliance during deployments
Deliver safe maintenance during deployments
Maintain customer satisfaction by proactively driving issues to resolution
Maintain in-service customer relationships across military and contractor organisations
Work across the Combat and Transport product space
Deploy to customer locations in the UK or overseas, initially RAF Coningsby or Qatar depending on experience and capability

Requirements

What you’ll need

Extensive knowledge of Aerospace safe maintenance regulations
A customer first, responsive and flexible attitude with a desire to travel
Experience of aircraft propulsion (Gas turbine) field maintenance, repair and overhaul (MR&O)
A desire to make a difference and establish the next generation of Rolls-Royce deployed services
An RAF or Defence industry aircraft maintenance background with previous signatories or authorisations is highly desirable
Ability and desire to work in deployed locations in the UK or overseas
Must be able to hold Security Check (SC) clearance; Rolls-Royce will support the application if not currently held
Must be a UK national or, in MoD-approved cases, a dual national
