About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead a team of buyers to develop and implement global procurement strategies
  • Develop and deploy integrated commodity/category strategies and strategic sourcing and commercial activities
  • Manage supplier relationships, escalations, conflict resolution, in-contract supplier performance, and procurement KPI reporting
  • Lead complex negotiations, cost analysis, total cost/acquisition and product cost lifecycle models, contract drafting, and business cases
  • Develop, deploy, and maintain integrated commodity/category supplier strategies and long-term supply-chain planning
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate commercial risks to ensure supply-chain continuity and resilience
  • Manage and lead buyers through skill development and superior business outcomes
  • Manage strategic senior-level relationships and create value and competitive advantage

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Associate degree with 7+ years of procurement experience, OR bachelor's degree with 5+ years of procurement experience, OR master's degree with 3+ years of procurement experience, OR JD/PhD, OR 9+ years of procurement experience in lieu of a degree
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen
  • Commercial, procurement and strategy experience preferred
  • Aerospace procurement experience preferred
  • Willingness to travel up to 15% domestically and internationally
