About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead multiple projects in close coordination with account/program management
  • Execute complex, high-risk projects according to customer contract budget, schedule, and scope
  • Lead special projects as required
  • Manage a portfolio of complex projects from initiation through completion, delivering scope, schedule, budget, and quality targets
  • Develop, coach, and mentor Project Managers and project teams
  • Lead cross-functional project teams and resolve team issues and conflicts
  • Manage project scope changes, crises, and risks; create contingency and mitigation plans
  • Prepare and deliver project progress reports to executive management
  • Identify additional revenue opportunities and develop business relationships
  • Assess project status through onsite meetings and work with contractors on generator set installation
  • Drive PMO excellence through risk management, change control, performance monitoring, compliance, and continuous improvement

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Associate’s degree in Business, Engineering, or related field + 7 years of experience in customer project execution
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or related field + 5 years of experience in customer project execution
  • Master’s degree in Business, Engineering, or related field + 3 years of experience in customer project execution
  • JD/PhD in Business, Engineering, or related field
  • In lieu of degree, 9+ years of experience in customer project execution
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen or U.S. Permanent Resident
  • Must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S. without sponsorship
  • PMP certification or equivalent project management training
  • Experience leading complex customer or business projects from initiation through completion
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, deadlines, and resources in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and stakeholder management skills
  • Experience supporting project governance, risk management, and continuous improvement initiatives
