About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead the coordination and execution of outsourced ground transportation operations
- Ensure timely deliveries, shipment traceability, and high service levels for customers
- Coordinate and execute outsourced ground transportation operations in Colombia
- Ensure compliance with delivery times, customer-agreed conditions, and regulatory requirements
- Control operational documentation
- Monitor and follow up with transportation carriers
- Manage operational incidents and exceptions
- Monitor performance indicators
- Contribute to operational efficiency and continuous improvement
- Coordinate multiple stakeholders and prioritize in dynamic environments
Requirements
What you’ll need- Experience in ground transportation, distribution, and logistics operations
- Knowledge of carrier management, delivery tracking, and resolution of operational issues
- Experience with document control and regulatory compliance in Colombia’s transportation sector
- Ability to manage service indicators and ensure compliance with customer agreements
- Ability to coordinate multiple stakeholders and prioritize in dynamic environments
- Proficiency with technological tools for logistics management
- Desirable: experience in transportation companies, logistics operators, or 3PLs
- Desirable: knowledge and experience using Oracle Transportation Management (OTM)
- Desirable: experience in nationwide outsourced transportation operations
- Knowledge of transportation, preferably from a transportation company
