About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Systematically screen real estate portals every day
- Evaluate each apartment from a coliving perspective, including its layout, condition, building, and property configuration
- Arrange viewings and attend them in person
- Submit applications on behalf of Room Estate
- Position Room Estate as the preferred tenant
- Follow up with property management companies and landlords through to a decision
- Manage each application through to lease signing
- Review leases using a checklist
- Verify critical points, missing clauses, and discrepancies compared with the listing
- Keep application tracking up to date and ensure every status is traceable
- Work closely with the Head of the Acquisition team, who makes the final decision in cases requiring judgment
- Contribute to the acquisition of rooms and the signing of high-quality leases in French-speaking Switzerland
Requirements
What you’ll need- Strong sense of responsibility and ability to work independently
- Ability to move processes forward end to end at high volume and at a reliable pace
- Native-level French, both written and spoken
- Tenacity and strong negotiation skills
- Good eye for floor plans and ability to assess an apartment’s coliving potential
- Meticulous approach to working with checklists
- Category B driving licence
- Availability for regular viewings in Geneva, the Lake Geneva region, and elsewhere in French-speaking Switzerland
- Fluent English, both written and spoken
- Experience in the Swiss real estate sector is a plus
- Network of property management companies and landlords in Geneva and the Lake Geneva region is a plus
- Experience in coliving or serviced furnished apartments is a plus
- Basic knowledge of Swiss tenancy law is a plus
- German is a plus
- No specialised knowledge of tenancy law is required
