About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Create and update North America supply plans for production and distribution at SKU/weekly horizon
- Consider manufacturing capacities, logistics and transport limitations, customer demand, inventory policy, regional SIOP alignment, and raw material availability
- Identify and communicate supply bottlenecks, risks, and mitigation plans
- Identify business opportunities linked to underutilization that could impact supply costs
- Coordinate plan results and alerts with Manufacturing, PLM, Demand Planning, Supply Schedulers, Procurement, Finance, and other stakeholders
- Establish and adhere to inventory policy by SKU/storage location
- Monitor and analyze production KPI metrics, focusing on supply plan adherence
- Identify root causes and implement improvements to supply assumptions, models, and processes
- Ensure data integrity across tools and systems
- Lead initiatives such as KPI improvement projects, process redesigns, data analysis, and optimization
- Provide analysis and recommendations for SKU rationalization
- Participate in annual inventory cycle or full physical counts
- Ensure clear understanding, agreement, and communication of all plans
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain or related business field
- 3–5 years of planning/scheduling experience
- Understanding of product and process cost structures for planning decisions
- Knowledge of corn wet milling industry preferred
- Strong oral and written communication
- Aptitude with math and statistics
- Strong problem-solving, innovative, and analytical skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to work flexible days and hours to meet facility demands
