About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Supporting cross-departmental matters and projects as they arise
- Preparing correspondence, for example with partners, and compiling relevant information
- Conducting comprehensive research on specific legal questions and engaging projects
- Supporting the Legal Team with negotiations and contract management
- Contributing to the development of policies, guidelines, and processes, for example in compliance and risk management
- Drafting, reviewing, and evaluating contracts, summaries, presentations, legal opinions, statements, and other legal documents in German and English
- Serving as a point of contact for internal departments and providing initial internal recommendations on legal matters
Requirements
What you’ll need- Completed degree in business law, law, or a related field, or completed training as a legal and notary assistant
- Ideally, initial experience or internships in a company or law firm
- Solid knowledge of Microsoft Office and all commonly used MS applications
- Structured, conscientious, and solution-oriented approach to thinking and working
- Ability to work independently, reliability, initiative, strong commitment, and motivation
- Interest in handling legal matters and developing solutions in a business context
- Fluent German and English, both written and spoken, with professional proficiency
