About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Support emerging matters and projects across departments
- Prepare correspondence, for example with partners
- Prepare and follow up on matters
- Conduct comprehensive research on specific legal questions and exciting projects
- Support the Legal team in negotiations and contract management
- Contribute to the development of policies, guidelines, and processes, for example in compliance and risk management
- Draft, review, and assess contracts, overviews, presentations, legal opinions, position papers, and other legal documents in German and English
- Act as a point of contact for internal departments and develop initial internal recommendations on legal matters
Requirements
What you’ll need- Currently pursuing an advanced degree (at least in the fifth semester; ideally having completed the First State Examination) in business law, law, or a related field
- Ideally, some initial experience or internships in a company or law firm
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office and all commonly used MS applications
- Structured, diligent, and solution-oriented approach to thinking and working
- Independence, reliability, initiative, strong commitment, and motivation
- Interest in addressing legal questions and developing solutions in a business context
- Fluent German and English language skills, both written and spoken, with professional working proficiency
