About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Assist with Veteran's Clinics
- Perform standard Echo imaging procedures in a Veteran's Clinic
- Communicate compassionately and professionally with patients
- Maintain equipment and area cleanliness
- Communicate professionally and effectively with hospital staff and colleagues
- Conduct a wide range of scans, primarily in an ER environment
- Perform additional tasks as needed
Requirements
What you’ll need- Minimum 1 year of imaging experience post-graduation
- Current ARDMS RDCS or CCI certification
- Valid driver’s license
- BLS/CPR certification
- Professionalism and strong interpersonal communication skills
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently
- Pass all necessary health requirements for hospital employment, including drug screen and background check
- Ability to use mobile phone devices and applications
- Proficiency with necessary technical equipment in the diagnostic modality
- Must be available to occasionally travel to various cities in Alaska
- Ideal location is Fairbanks
