About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Perform a wide range of ultrasound imaging procedures
- Communicate compassionately and professionally with patients
- Maintain equipment and area cleanliness
- Communicate professionally and effectively with hospital staff and colleagues
- Complete additional tasks as needed
- Primarily conduct a wide range of scans in emergency room environments, including hospitals and free-standing facilities
Requirements
What you’ll need- Minimum 1 year of ultrasound imaging experience post-graduation
- Current ARDMS certification – RDMS, ideally in Ab or OB
- Valid driver’s license
- BLS/CPR certification
- Professionalism and strong interpersonal communication skills
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently
- Pass all necessary health requirements for hospital employment, including drug screen and background check
- Comfort level with general abdominal, general OB, and general vascular scans/procedures
- Ability to use mobile phone devices and applications
- Ability to use necessary technical equipment in the diagnostic modality
