About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Actively participate in agile ceremonies and rituals, contributing a quality perspective from planning, estimation, and requirements definition through delivery
Interpret, review, and challenge requirements with development and product teams
Propose appropriate testing techniques for identifying and validating scenarios
Create and maintain clear, comprehensive, and reusable test cases, ensuring traceability
Execute functional, exploratory, regression, usability, and integration tests
Document results and report defects clearly, with appropriate prioritization
Design, develop, maintain, and execute automation frameworks and scripts for web, API, and/or mobile applications
Monitor and analyze quality metrics, identifying trends and proposing improvements
Communicate insights to product and engineering teams
Support developers and other teams in identifying, reproducing, and resolving defects
Promote a culture of quality and shared responsibility throughout the software development lifecycle

Requirements

What you’ll need

Completed or ongoing degree in Software Engineering, Systems Analysis and Development, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field
Solid experience working as a QA Analyst, Test Engineer, or in a similar role
Critical and analytical thinking to question and analyze requirements
Proactive approach to identifying problems and proposing solutions
Strong communication skills to articulate and defend quality-related decisions
Business-results orientation
Adaptability to changing scope and priorities in an agile, dynamic environment
Ability to mentor others and collaborate effectively as part of a team
Experience with and understanding of agile methodologies, including Scrum and Kanban
Proficiency in functional, risk-based, and experience-based testing techniques
Basic knowledge of non-functional testing techniques
Basic knowledge of software and defect test management
Hands-on experience with test automation tools such as Cypress, Selenium, Jest, or Playwright
Knowledge of and hands-on experience with API testing using Postman, Insomnia, or REST Assured
Experience applying Scrum and Kanban
Familiarity with Git
Basic knowledge of risk management
Basic knowledge of software quality metrics and indicators
Nice to have: knowledge of CI/CD, experience with performance and security testing, and certifications such as CTFL or ISTQB
