About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Support the preparation and monitoring of the annual budget and financial forecasts
  • Perform monthly budget-versus-actual analyses, identifying revenue, cost, and expense variances
  • Update and monitor the management income statement, both consolidated and by business line
  • Allocate costs and expenses by cost center, project, and business line
  • Consolidate and verify financial information from different databases and systems
  • Support analyses of profitability, gross margin, and EBITDA by business line
  • Develop and maintain management spreadsheets in advanced Excel using formulas, pivot tables, and Power Query
  • Support reconciliations between accounting and management information, identifying and analyzing potential discrepancies
  • Prepare financial reports, performance indicators, and presentations to monitor results
  • Use artificial intelligence tools to optimize routines, improve data processing, and automate reports
  • Identify opportunities to improve and simplify financial processes and controls

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
  • Previous experience in FP&A, Controllership, or Financial Planning
  • Advanced Excel required, including complex formulas, pivot tables, and database cross-referencing
  • Knowledge of income statements, budgeting, financial forecasting, and results analysis
  • Experience allocating costs and expenses by cost center
  • Familiarity with artificial intelligence tools such as ChatGPT and Claude
  • Analytical, organized, detail-oriented profile with strong numerical skills
  • Knowledge of Power Query and Power BI
  • Experience working with multiple business lines
  • Experience in consulting, technology, or services companies
  • Knowledge of ERP systems such as Protheus or Omie
  • Experience automating spreadsheets and financial reports
