Key responsibilities & impact

Partner with business teams to understand their needs and translate requirements into scalable data solutions aligned with organizational objectives
Lead requirements-gathering efforts and map business processes and data flows across systems
Develop and maintain data engineering solutions in Microsoft Azure
Create and optimize data pipelines using Azure Data Factory and Azure Databricks
Integrate, transform, and make data available for analysis
Develop and maintain ETL/ELT processes
Execute cloud data environment migration and modernization projects
Design and optimize data models
Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines
Apply data governance, security, and quality practices
Monitor and troubleshoot failures in data pipelines and processes
Develop and maintain analytical solutions with Power BI
Optimize the performance and scalability of data environments
Document processes, solutions, and architectures
Collaborate with Data, BI, Engineering, Technology, and Business teams

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
Proven experience as a Data Engineer
Strong knowledge of Power BI
Experience with Microsoft Azure solutions, including Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, and Azure SQL Data Warehouse
Experience with CI/CD pipelines
Knowledge of data modeling, data governance, and security best practices
Experience with cloud migration projects and data environment modernization
Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in multidisciplinary teams
Azure DP-203 certification or equivalent is a plus
