About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Ensure product manufacturability by proposing innovative solutions that respect the capabilities and constraints of the industrial equipment
  • Provide technical support for the improvement and/or repair of existing equipment and tooling
  • Prepare supporting documentation for tooling, including tolerance analyses, compliance documentation, and regulatory requirements
  • Support the implementation of subcontracting for design activities
  • Provide technical support to machinists and toolmakers performing activities for Roxel France
  • Contribute to actions related to the ergonomics and productivity of tooling and equipment, particularly during on-site improvement initiatives
  • Build a high-quality supplier network in collaboration with the Procurement department
  • Manage the updating of tooling documentation in Roxel’s systems, including Décaweb
  • Support the Methods and Production departments with the trial assembly of tooling

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Two- or three-year post-secondary degree in Mechanical Design and/or Tooling Design
  • 5 years of professional experience
  • Rigorous and well-organized
  • Strong team-oriented approach
  • Proactive, with excellent interpersonal skills
  • Strong analytical and summarization skills
  • Solid knowledge of mechanics and design
  • Proficiency with CAD tools and tooling dimensioning
  • Proficiency with office software and ERP systems
