About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Conduct initial meetings with recurring clients to align on the engagement
Customize and adapt work programs to meet each client’s needs
Document planning and risk assessment for PPA engagements
Develop the complete audit plan for small clients with net revenue of up to BRL 50 million
Document the overall understanding of the entity, materiality, and audit strategy
Assist with the preliminary review of financial statements, ensuring the correct application of applicable standards
Review workpapers prepared by assistants and trainees, ensuring quality and compliance
Track engagement hours at the client and review the team’s timesheets
Prepare recommendation reports and preliminary audit reports in accordance with applicable standards
Document process narratives and validate any identified deficiencies
Record established criteria for journal entries, subsequent events, and inventory count results
Formalize conclusions and review final audit documentation
Determine adjustments, discuss identified deficiencies with the team and client, and propose solutions
Lead preliminary discussions regarding weaknesses and adjustments with clients of medium and lower complexity, with net revenue between BRL 50 million and BRL 100 million
Evaluate and provide feedback to the next-level team members, promoting technical development
Clarify questions of limited complexity related to audit methodology

Requirements

What you’ll need

Currently pursuing or completed a bachelor’s degree in Economics, Business Administration, or Actuarial Science
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office is preferred
Intermediate English proficiency is preferred
