About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Assist in designing, developing, and testing machine learning models for classification, regression, clustering, and recommendations
Support preprocessing and basic analysis of datasets using standard data tools
Work with data scientists, engineers, and product teams to integrate models into production systems
Assist with experiments and model evaluations
Document experiment and evaluation results for senior team members
Stay up to date with the latest AI/ML research
Contribute to team knowledge sharing

Requirements

What you’ll need

1–2 years of experience in machine learning, data science, or software development; internship or academic projects acceptable
Familiarity with Python and major ML frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, and scikit-learn
Basic knowledge of data manipulation and visualization tools
Broad understanding of machine learning principles and algorithms
Awareness of MLOps practices and tools, including version control, containerization, or model monitoring
Foundational understanding of deep learning, natural language processing (NLP), or computer vision concepts
Ability to work independently with guidance and take initiative on assigned tasks
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with eagerness to learn and grow
Ability to clearly document and communicate findings
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, data science, engineering, mathematics, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
No current or future sponsorship requirement; RSM does not intend to hire entry-level candidates requiring sponsorship
Azure AI Fundamentals or similar entry-level certification preferred
