About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Collaborate with the Technology Delivery Director, Business Analyst team, subject matter experts, and stakeholders to support Assurance Digital’s product vision
- Review scope, refine business requirements, and support delivery teams throughout scheduled releases
- Serve as a key point of contact for business and technology teams
- Research, document, and socialize functional requirements for tool and process enhancements
- Lead requirements elicitation sessions and resolve requirement issues before delivery
- Document user stories and acceptance criteria
- Develop supporting documentation, including state flow diagrams and data mapping
- Establish and manage relationships with business and technology subject matter experts
- Support change control for scope and requirement changes
- Monitor and evaluate product progress throughout Agile delivery
- Participate in test case design and validate user stories after QA/UAT
- Resolve issues with scrum teams across development, QA, and UAT cycles
- Support audit methodology group with QA/UAT inquiries
- Support product vision, upgrades, enhancements, and project alignment/sequencing
- Liaise between business and technology teams
- Assist with vendor relationship management for enhancements, support tickets, open projects, and SOWs
- Review release backlog and maintain accurate priorities
- Participate in Scrum meetings
- Build internal and external networks and improve team processes
- Stay current with accounting and auditing standards and firm policies
- Provide ongoing professional development through education
- Support critical issues and escalations for the BA team and engagement teams
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent experience
- Minimum of 5+ years relevant work experience in Audit or Business Analysis
- Experience working with 3rd party vendors and building relationships
- Proven experience in operational business process improvement
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Strong technical expertise in MS Office suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio
- Strong knowledge of the Scale Agile SAFe Framework
- Strong organizational and multi-tasking ability
- Ability to build relationships across functional disciplines
- Understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle
- Understanding of both Waterfall and Agile Methodologies
- Experience with Azure DevOps or Jira preferred
- Prior business analysis or audit experience with a mid-to-large public accounting or audit services firm preferred
- Must not require sponsorship now or in the future for entry-level hiring; F-1 visa holders are excluded from entry-level hiring
