About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Drive growth in the Texas/Oklahoma market by selling Audit, Tax, and Consulting services to new Business and Professional Services clients
- Target marketing and advertising firms, environmental and facility services companies, workforce solutions organizations, architecture/engineering firms, law firms, accounting firms, and consulting firms
- Sell professional services including Tax and Audit annuity contracts, Fund Administration, Technical Accounting Consulting, Financial and Accounting Outsourcing, Valuation, Risk/Internal Audit, SOC/Sarbanes-Oxley Section 404, Information Technology/System Selection, Cost Auditing, and Cost Segregation
- Lead all aspects of the sales process, including prospect targeting, opportunity-specific sales strategy, pursuit-team selection, and quarterbacking the sales process
- Build and maintain strong sales pipelines and forecasts for substantiated opportunities
- Prepare and facilitate presentations and proposals; close sales and finalize customer agreements
- Co-lead growth efforts with firm industry and line-of-business leaders through prospecting, networking, and participation in industry and professional groups
- Source and qualify opportunities with companies not currently served by the firm
- Execute the sales plan and process while coordinating internal and external resources to secure business
- Work networking contacts, professional affiliations, industry groups, and Centers of Influence
- Identify and target key companies with local and national industry teams and distinguish existing clients, prospects, and related entities
- Support Partners, Principals, Directors, and Senior Managers in cross-selling services to existing clients
- Develop targeted go-to-market plans with local and national marketing resources
- Provide ongoing market-opportunity feedback to National Sales Organization management
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- Minimum of 6+ years of experience with demonstrated success in selling professional services to corporations with revenues ranging from $20 million to over $1 billion
- Experience leading complex sales processes involving multiple team members and multiple decision makers, primarily C-suite decision makers
- Experience and contacts within middle market BPS companies with assets of $100 million to $5 billion
- Demonstrated network of Centers of Influence, including banking, legal and other professional services relationships
- Expertise driving a complex sales cycle from identification through deal close
- Ability to participate in and manage RFP and SOW processes
- Experience leveraging a CRM tool for report generation and sales tracking
- Prior experience leveraging social media technologies for networking
- Excellent influence and negotiation skills; strong executive presence and business acumen
- Motivation, self-discipline, and strong time management skills
- Willingness and ability to travel locally and overnight when appropriate
- Preferred: Active network of C-level contacts in the TX/OK market, particularly real estate
- Preferred: Community involvement and activity with industry associations, civic and/or non-profit groups
- Experience working for Big Four or other national firms is a significant plus
- Exceptionally strong communication, presentation, analytical, and organizational skills
- Entry-level candidates requiring sponsorship now or in the future are not eligible; F-1 visa holders are excluded under the stated policy
