About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Provide independent and objective project oversight
Detect and respond to project risks and issues to minimize delivery problems
Conduct monthly project review meetings with Project Managers and Engagement Leaders
Update the Delivery Assurance Dashboard
Guide project teams on project status, financials, solution health and readiness
Conduct targeted reviews for complex or troubled programs and projects
Meet with clients to gather input and provide project status and solution health readouts
Coach teams and help develop skills and apply best practices
Improve delivery performance and results
Advise Project Teams, RSM Management and Client Teams
Facilitate difficult conversations and management intervention
Anticipate problems and provide solutions
Review statements of work, status reports, project metrics, plans, milestones, financials and standard delivery metrics
Architect and build processes and leverage digital technologies to improve the Delivery Assurance function

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's degree in management information systems, computer science or accounting
7-10 years of related work experience as a Program or Project Manager on complex engagements
Experience leading at least one complex project, ideally 9+ months in length
Broad IT expertise and/or business-led digital transformation experience
Working knowledge of financial and ERP systems, technology infrastructure trends, governance/management and internal controls
Strong communication, presentation, project management, and business development skills
Strong writing, research and analytical skills
Ability to work in a dynamic, time-sensitive environment with varying deliverables and changing requirements
Strong leadership and self-motivation
Ability to deal confidently with complex business and technical problems
Bachelor's degree or equivalent U.S. college/university qualification context
Must not require employment sponsorship now or in the future for entry-level hiring; F-1 visa holders excluded from entry-level hiring
