About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead the end-to-end data analytics process for mergers and acquisitions
  • Lead and manage complex analytics and transaction engagements across buy-side and sell-side transactions
  • Develop and deliver engagement approaches meeting client objectives
  • Provide strategic insight related to transaction evaluation, execution, and value creation
  • Analyze complex datasets and develop financial models using advanced analytics tools such as SQL and Tableau
  • Identify growth opportunities through advanced analytics
  • Lead, mentor, and develop engagement teams
  • Support business development efforts and enhance go-to-market strategies
  • Build and maintain client relationships across private equity and corporate clients
  • Support deal evaluation, financial reporting, and operational decision-making

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • 9+ years of experience
  • Proven experience leading teams and managing complex engagements
  • Big Four or similar consulting background (preferred)
  • Experience serving private equity clients (preferred)
  • Demonstrated success building and growing advisory practices (preferred)
  • Travel as required by client engagements
  • Flexibility to meet client and business demands
  • Maintenance of relevant credentials
  • RSM does not intend to hire entry level candidates who require sponsorship now or in the future
  • Qualified applicants with arrest or conviction records will be considered
