About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Work with healthcare organizations across the spectrum of healthcare providers
- Sit in on client meetings and support consulting projects
- Prepare reports on consulting services performed for clients
- Deliver reports and discuss results and recommendations with clients where appropriate
- Travel to client locations as requested to provide consulting services
- Complete client projects efficiently according to project timelines and critical dates
- Use Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint to analyze client information and document results and recommendations
- Work on projects involving revenue cycle, clinical operations, supply chain, pharmacy, managed care program assessments, service line optimizations, and strategic business plan implementation
- Attend relevant conferences, trainings, and meetings for professional development
- Receive guidance from an assigned Performance Advisor to establish career goals
Requirements
What you’ll need- Pursuing at least a B.A. / B.S. degree or equivalent from an accredited university
- Major in Business, Finance, or Data Analytics preferred
- Minimum 3.0 GPA preferred
- Travel to assigned client locations may be required
- Access to and ability to arrange reliable transportation to assigned client locations
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong computer skills, including MS Office
- Strong multi-tasking and project management skills
- Ability to work effectively as a team member
- High degree of integrity and professionalism
- Interest in pursuing certifications in Epic, Oracle Health (Cerner), CRCR, and CHFP
- Entry-level candidates must not require sponsorship now or in the future
