About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Assist in optimizing finance organizations through finance assessments, target operating models, business process improvement, enterprise transformation, and finance technology enablement and deployment
Apply finance and accounting function expertise across Procure to Pay, Order to Cash, Source to Report, Acquire to Retire, and Forecasting & Planning
Deliver high-quality work within expected timeframes, scope, budgets, and client expectations
Use visualization tools such as PowerBI and Tableau and automation technologies such as Alteryx to modernize service delivery
Monitor project progress and risks and communicate milestones, engagement progress, and expected outcomes
Participate in internal and external business development and networking
Identify cross-selling opportunities across firm lines of business
Conduct industry research and support prospect and client targeting
Execute projects to completion and identify solutions to client challenges
Help develop new service offerings, innovative solutions, and deliverables
Manage, coach, and develop junior resources and peers; support recruitment and retention
Communicate with client employees, C-suite executives, and private equity partners to develop client relationships

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Technology or other related discipline
Minimum 2 years’ experience working in a large organization, professional services firm or CPA firm
Knowledge advising Finance organizations on finance business processes
Experience in at least one focus area: Finance Transformation, Business Process Improvement, Shared Services, or Technology Enablement
Critical thinking and complex business problem-solving skills through fact gathering, business process mapping, and data analysis
Ability to work in a fast-paced, ever-evolving environment and deal effectively with ambiguity
Ability to work independently and in a team environment
Verbal and written communication, project management, and organizational skills
Proficiency in MS Word, MS PowerPoint, MS Project, MS Visio, MS Teams, MS Outlook, OneDrive, LucidCharts, and Smartsheet
Ability to travel up to 30%
Functional understanding of financial systems, business processes, and process redesign concepts
Digital experience with PowerBI, Alteryx, SQL Server, VBA, and/or Python
Experience developing and delivering proposals
Experience serving clients across multiple industries
Industry or professional certification is a plus, including Six Sigma, PMP, or CPA
MBA or other equivalent or relevant graduate degree preferred
Recent U.S. college/university graduates must have 1–2 years of progressive and relevant experience for possible experienced-associate hire
