About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Lead customers in their transition to the Modern Workplace, including Windows 10, Enterprise Mobility and Security, and Office 365
Design, implement, and configure Microsoft 365 E5 components for clients
Lead construction of standard project delivery guides and tools
Train technical and non-technical staff
Develop strategic roadmaps enabling adoption of the Microsoft 365 E3/E5 stack
Provide timely, high-quality client service as a business advisor to middle-market clients
Serve as a national resource and escalation point for projects across all regions
Draft statements of work supporting client project goals and outcomes
Identify and escalate cross-selling opportunities across the RSM portfolio
Establish rapport and trust with key client decision-makers
Interact with clients, develop demos and proofs of concept to support sales, and design and lead technical solution implementations

Requirements

What you’ll need

3-5 years of hands-on technical experience with Office 365 and Office Collaboration products and services
Experience with Exchange Online, Azure AD, SharePoint Online, Teams, OneDrive for Business, Intune, and O365 Groups
Ability to provide hands-on technical support
High-level expertise in identity, authentication, security, privacy, and compliance requirements
Experience integrating identity, authentication, security, privacy, and compliance into cloud and hybrid solutions
Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
Ability to interact with external clients
Technical breadth and experience with cloud and hybrid infrastructures, adjacent technologies, architecture designs, migrations, and industry standards
Client-oriented mindset
Willingness to travel throughout the country as needed, approximately 15-20% (1-2 days per month)
Advanced problem-solving skills and work ethic
Ability to multitask and manage a variety of projects simultaneously
Preferred: technical middle-market scale experience with cloud and hybrid infrastructures, architecture design, and Microsoft Modern Workplace
Preferred: Office Collaboration products and services knowledge
Preferred senior-level experience with Windows OS, Group Policy, Microsoft Azure Services, Azure Active Directory, modern authentication architectures, conditional access, and service deployment
Preferred previous IT consulting/managed services experience with middle-market clients
Preferred Office 365/Microsoft 365 design experience
Microsoft or similar manufacturer-specific certifications preferred, including MS-100, MS-101, MS-500, and AZ-900
Preferred scripting experience with PowerShell, Batch, and VBScript
