About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Drive high-quality delivery of NetSuite implementation projects within expected timeframes and budgets
Manage small to medium engagements valued at $100K-$750K, including project scope, schedule, budget, resources, risks, and deliverables
Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, status reports, RAID logs, and other project management documentation
Coordinate activities across NetSuite functional and technical workstreams throughout the implementation lifecycle
Monitor project progress, manage risks and dependencies, and keep clients and internal stakeholders informed
Partner with engagement leaders and client stakeholders to manage scope, milestones, priorities, and expectations
Identify and resolve project issues and serve as an escalation point when necessary
Identify scope changes, project risks, resource constraints, and timeline impacts, and develop mitigation plans
Lead project meetings and communicate status, decisions, risks, action items, and next steps
Direct and motivate project teams while fostering positive relationships with client and internal stakeholders
Build and maintain relationships with engagement teams and deliver high-quality client service
Support testing, go-live readiness, deployment, and post-implementation activities
Assist clients and engagement teams in identifying additional opportunities and support business development
Provide mentoring and on-the-job coaching to project team members while fostering an innovative and inclusive team environment

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree
2+ years of experience focused on project management, ERP implementations, technology implementations, and/or business process improvement
Experience working for a consulting or professional services firm
Good understanding of project management methodologies and the technology implementation lifecycle
Experience developing and managing project plans, timelines, budgets, risks, issues, dependencies, and status reporting
Experience leading and coordinating cross-functional project teams
Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills with the ability to exercise mature judgment
Advanced interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with client stakeholders, project teams, and engagement leadership
Ability to collaborate with clients and other RSM practice areas
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, client-facing environment
Strong oral and written communication skills, including presentation skills
Proficiency with Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Visio, and other project management tools
Industry expertise and a desire to gain additional exposure across multiple industries
Ability to travel up to 25%

Preferred: Experience supporting or managing NetSuite implementation projects
Preferred: Experience managing ERP or cloud-based business system implementations
Preferred: Understanding of the NetSuite implementation lifecycle
Preferred: Experience coordinating functional and technical ERP workstreams
Preferred: Experience managing multiple projects or workstreams simultaneously
Preferred: PMP, Scrum, or other relevant project management designation
Preferred: Business capability benchmarking, blueprint, and roadmap development experience
Preferred: Experience with business case development and management
