About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Provide Workday functional expertise for day-to-day support and development
  • Configure business processes and integrations, manage data transmission through EIB, conduct testing, and troubleshoot issues
  • Monitor and maintain production Workday and related systems’ inbound and outbound integrations
  • Provide expertise in Workday Core HCM, Time Tracking, Payroll, Benefits, Compensation, and Talent Acquisition
  • Advise on Workday best practices and partner with Centers of Excellence to prioritize requirements and improve processes
  • Create and maintain comprehensive business requirements for changes, enhancements, and projects
  • Articulate end-to-end functional processes and provide thought leadership on functionality and design
  • Monitor Workday future releases and assess their impact on current and future functionality
  • Balance day-to-day systems support with strategic enhancements and projects
  • Test and analyze new Workday features, including regression, unit, User Acceptance, and pre-launch testing/sign-off
  • Collaborate with COEs, third-party vendors, and the Talent Technology Integration Team on integration creation, updates, testing, and production support
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree with an emphasis in HR, Business, Project Management, MIS or related field preferred, OR a significant amount of directly related work experience beyond the minimum required for the position
  • Proven Workday functional expertise, including delivered functionality, reports, and administrative tasks
  • Ability to navigate challenges independently with strong prioritization and judgment
  • Ability to create technology solutions matching COE needs with business processes and requirements
  • Experience with Workday functional configuration in HCM Suite modules, including Talent and Performance, Absence and Time Tracking, Recruiting, Core HCM, Payroll, and Security
  • Experience supporting a mid-to-large-sized business
  • 5 years of previous experience in HCM tool suite processes and project management, including analysis and documentation
  • 3–4 years of proven success driving business process implementation
  • Strong personal accountability for high-quality, value-driven work
  • Design thinking principles
  • Continuous learning, curiosity, and comfort with ambiguity
  • Ability to share findings and insights through coaching and mentoring
