About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Manage multiple concurrent engagements within the Deals Accounting and Strategic Finance practice
Provide technical accounting and financial or business advisory guidance to clients
Coordinate consulting work plans and client deliverables
Collaborate with firm specialists on complex accounting matters
Prepare technical memoranda and client deliverables
Manage Transaction Accounting engagements, teams, resources, and engagement economics
Support sell-side readiness, transaction-ready financial reporting, close processes, and complex accounting considerations
Perform transaction-related accounting analyses, including business combinations and carve-outs
Design and implement accounting policies, reporting structures, processes, close frameworks, and controls
Support day-one and post-close accounting and financial reporting readiness
Assist with post-close reporting obligations and accounting and finance integration
Address client concerns, escalate issues, and identify performance improvement opportunities
Develop others through mentoring, training, and career development
Participate in proposals, pitch meetings, marketing collateral, and go-to-market strategy
Develop external relationships to support business growth
Read industry publications and share relevant information with clients
Maintain professional development through ongoing education

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
9+ years of experience
Strong leadership and client management experience
CPA or equivalent certification preferred
Experience leading project teams in accounting and finance optimization, audit readiness, complex accounting analysis and consultation, or new accounting standard implementation
Willingness to travel 25% or less of the year
Must not require sponsorship now or in the future for entry-level hiring; F-1 visa holders are excluded from entry-level hiring
