About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead the safe execution of maintenance activities for offshore wind operations
  • Provide safety leadership, promote safety culture, ensure WTSR and safe-systems-of-work compliance, and maintain psychological safety
  • Lead and develop high-performing teams through coaching, performance management, competence development, and day-to-day leadership
  • Lead work preparation and execution readiness, ensuring maintenance plans, documentation, work orders, materials, resources, and contractor support are in place
  • Drive asset performance and reliability through work prioritisation, defect resolution, operational performance monitoring, and communication of progress, risks, and improvement opportunities
  • Provide safety and operational guidance to wind technicians, including toolbox talks and daily safety briefings
  • Work with special projects and project organisation on turbine systems
  • Assist with campaign works and maintenance coordination alongside the Operations Manager
  • Identify recurring and major component faults and collaborate across departments on solutions
  • Manage daily planning and logistics operations for offshore wind turbine technicians
  • Collaborate with Regional Technical Site Supervisors, Project Support, and the remote diagnostic team on asset management

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Experience with SAP processes and task lists, Scheduling Cockpit, Site Monitoring Centre (SMC), and Site Offshore Management System (SOMS)
  • Experience in managing interdisciplinary teams (ideally)
  • Wind Turbine Safety Rules (WTSR) competency and certification
  • Substantial experience as a service technician
  • Solid troubleshooting experience with the Siemens Direct Drive Platform
  • Successful completion of a Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS) check for UK employment
