About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Support the Deputy Director of AT-AISS in managing the Advanced Technology business
  • Manage the RLPM Gate Process
  • Prepare monthly reports
  • Control NBI budgets
  • Oversee Program Management reports
  • Administer SharePoint
  • Write and approve BOEs
  • Identify new business opportunities
  • Prepare and present presentations to customers and internal management
  • Lead and/or coordinate development of proposals, statements of work, and specifications
  • Estimate product and service costs

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM)
  • Minimum 8 years of prior engineering experience
  • Experience in Contract Research & Development in areas such as new business capture, proposal development, technology evaluation, program management, technical contribution, or related contract development experience
  • U.S. citizenship required
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government-issued security clearance
  • Active and existing DoD Secret security clearance required after day 1
  • MS in Engineering, Sciences, or Management preferred
  • Program Management Certification or knowledge of PM lifecycle preferred
  • Experience with Microsoft Office, Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Project, and SharePoint preferred
  • Cost Account Management (CAM) experience preferred
  • Earned Value Management (EVMS) experience preferred
  • Experience with Federal Acquisition Regulations (FARs) preferred
  • Experience obtaining Intellectual Property on emerging technologies preferred
  • Experience leading Internal Research & Development projects preferred
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills preferred
  • Excellent time management and multitasking skills preferred
  • Ability to work in a team environment and effectively direct, influence, motivate, and supervise team members preferred
