About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead facility professionals across the Arizona/New Mexico sub-region in partnership with the Global Facilities COE and BRMs
  • Oversee teams maintaining building operations and maintenance, including plumbing, utilities, mechanical systems, HVAC and fire safety
  • Oversee site services including food services, custodial services, landscaping, snow removal, pest control and furniture moves
  • Lead a large, dispersed organization with complex bargaining agreements
  • Align and implement COE strategies, including service levels, service-provider selection, processes, tools and automation/digital evolution
  • Maintain and continuously improve sub-region efficiency and customer experience across people, processes and systems
  • Ensure local, sub-regional and federal safety and facilities compliance
  • Advance energy, sustainability and ESG practices, including carbon-neutrality and waste-reduction goals
  • Partner with EHSS to administer environmental and safety programs and maintain incident reporting
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with ERS COEs, BRMs, DT, Security, HR, Finance, EHSS and Logistics
  • Travel between sites

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Minimum 12+ years’ experience in Facilities Management leadership
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Business, Operation or a related discipline, or equivalent combination of related work experience and schooling in lieu of degree
  • 12+ years’ experience including Facilities Management, Facility Operations, Project Management, or Maintenance
  • Experience with cross-functional leadership
  • Familiarity with Federal safety and facilities compliance
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance
  • U.S. citizenship required
  • Active and existing DoD Secret security clearance required after day 1
  • Strong understanding of Program and Project management, including risk, schedule and budget management
  • Demonstrated financial management skills, including developing and executing annual operating and capital plans
  • Strong analytical skills, including synthesizing large quantities of data and developing recommendations
  • Ability to travel between sites
