About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Provide guidance and support to leaders in aligning and executing people strategies with business objectives
  • Integrate RTX values into business and people processes to build a culture that develops talent and fosters employee engagement
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to develop and execute organizational effectiveness, employee experience, and change initiatives
  • Analyze team structures and role responsibilities and recommend reporting lines, spans of control, and job leveling
  • Implement workforce planning initiatives and talent mobility programs
  • Maintain understanding of the business environment to address workforce challenges and opportunities
  • Operationalize strategies for current and future workforce needs
  • Enhance leadership capabilities and team performance through actionable recommendations
  • Serve as a trusted advisor and ambassador for business leadership and employees
  • Provide HR counsel and expertise to optimize business processes and performance
  • Facilitate team dynamics workshops, conflict resolution, and collaboration practices
  • Partner with Collins/RTX Centers of Excellence and central functions to broker solutions and leverage best practices
  • Coach, mentor, and facilitate high-performing teams and influence decision-making
  • Lead, support, and collaborate on strategic Digital Technology projects, including technology implementations, reorganizations, mergers and acquisitions, and divestitures
  • Collaborate across Digital Technology leadership, HR, Culture and Technical Development, and the broader HR organization
  • Travel up to 25%, primarily domestically

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • University Degree and minimum 12 years of prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 10 years of experience
  • Prior HR experience required
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without company immigration sponsorship now or in the future
  • Experience presenting to Executive Leadership
  • Experience driving results through others
  • Broad management and leadership knowledge to lead projects
  • Change management skills and ability to partner with the business to drive organizational change
  • Experience using Microsoft applications, including Excel and PowerPoint, to analyze and present data
  • HRBP experience supporting leaders across a globally dispersed footprint
  • Ability to support standard U.S. working hours and flex occasionally for a globally dispersed footprint
  • Ability to travel up to 25%, primarily domestically
