About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead campaigns to grow Raytheon’s customer base for undersea integrated sensors and effectors
- Develop, gain leadership approval for, and execute campaign strategies
- Coordinate closely with the Raytheon Naval Systems & Sustainment Business Development Executive and Naval Power business units
- Develop relationships with domestic and international customers seeking undersea sensor, effector, and integrated solutions
- Identify, develop, and assess new undersea opportunities
- Build and maintain relationships with potential customers and their U.S. government counterparts
- Provide subject matter expertise on U.S. and international customers’ procurement processes and acquisition strategies
- Participate in strategic plans and country strategies
- Prepare and request international licensing and agreements
- Collaborate with RTX Global Government Relations on federal and state/local public policy and development of new technologies and solutions
- Travel approximately 30% domestically and internationally
Requirements
What you’ll need- University Degree and minimum 12 years of prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 10 years of experience
- Submarine-qualified officer at O-6 grade level with command experience
- Expertise with Navy undersea operations, combat systems, sensors/effectors, and sonar array systems
- 8+ years’ experience in U.S. Navy requirements, acquisition, NAVSEA program management and/or OPNAV experience preferred
- Strategic thinking and a proven track record of success
- Ability to assess current and future maritime warfighting capabilities and requirements and develop innovative solutions
- Proven leadership qualities, interpersonal skills, and enthusiasm for achieving mission success
- Current active Secret clearance preferred
- U.S. citizenship required
- Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government-issued security clearance required
- Active and existing security clearance required after day 1
- Approximately 30% domestic and international travel
